Commissioning Techniciansparticipate in the estimating, tracking, start up and commission of projects, and will be the customer interface for all technical requirements of assigned projects. You will provide expertise and knowledge throughout the system or service project lifecycle on customer sites. OurCommissioning Technician’stechnical expertise, project oversight, and customer interaction contribute to efficient project execution, satisfied clients, and optimized long-term performance of systems.

*This role will be located at the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

As a Commissioning Technician, you will:

  • Analyze plans, specifications, and project details to determine system requirements
  • Research, develop, plan, and execute Engineering change orders, including change order proposals, test documentation generation, and identifying affected schematics
  • Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site walk-throughs, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training. Act as technical resource to customers and field employees
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs. Coordinate work with subcontractors
  • Identify the needs for requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects. Track resources and project progress
  • Troubleshoot issues, including identifying and debugging software, and diagnosing air handlers and supporting utility issues
  • Organize and maintain job documentation

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience site acceptance testing or start up testing or commissioning protocols of Building Automation or HVAC systems(Mid level). 5+ years for Senior Level
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to read/understand design and construction documents
  • Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment,working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 poundsunassisted
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in the installation and / or maintenance of Building Automation systems
  • Experience with Pharmaceutical cGMP
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

  • The pay range for this position is $64,960 - $111,360 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
