Job summary

nVent Management Company is seeking a skilled Lead Builder to join our on-site team. You will oversee framing, panel installation, doors, gutters and HVAC units, while supporting supervisory duties as needed.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or two years of related experience and a proven ability to work safely on site. Shift schedule is 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential Friday overtime.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Alternatively, two years related experience and/or training.
  • Or a combination of education and experience that equips you to successfully implement our high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Frame and install interior liner panels, exterior sheeting, trim, doors & door hardware, gutters, hoods, pans, and HVAC units.
  • Maintain an excellent driving record and operate company vehicles as required.
  • Represent nVent with integrity and appropriate conduct while working on-site with customers, customer representatives, subcontractors, and fellow employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support our world-class manufacturing operations.
  • Foster a workplace environment that is enjoyable, instills pride in our products, and focuses strictly on the customer while providing room for individual responsibilities and ideas.

Schedule

Hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Opportunity for extra hours on Friday.
