Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a skilled Builder/Carpenter to join the Phoenix installation team in Glendale, AZ. You will install premium outdoor structures at residential and commercial properties, reading drawings and installing components from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have journeyman level or are advanced apprentices, with room to grow into crew leadership. This is a full-time position offering ongoing training and potential for advancement within a hands-on, outdoors workload.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Carpenter preferred; qualified 3rd or 4th-year apprentices will also be considered.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans and measurements.
• Strong practical knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install custom patio enclosures, pergolas, louvered roofs, screen rooms and retractable screens.
• Read and work from drawings, measurements and installation plans.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install components accurately.
• Load, transport and organize tools and materials; operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial customers.
• Identify and resolve installation challenges while maintaining quality standards.
• Train and support less-experienced crew members when required.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule.
• Complete installations in accordance with safety, quality and customer-service expectations.

A well-established outdoor-living company is looking for a skilled Builder/Carpenter to join itsPhoenix installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on construction, takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to see custom projects come together from beginning to end. You’ll install premium outdoor structures at residential and commercial properties throughout Phoenix and the surrounding area. Projects include patio enclosures, pergolas, louvered roofs, screen rooms and retractable screen systems. This is a long-term position offering continuous training, additional earning potential and the opportunity to eventually lead your own installation crew.

What you will be doing:

• Install custom patio enclosures, pergolas, louvered roofs, screen rooms and retractable screens
• Read and work from drawings, measurements and installation plans

What you must have:

• Ability to interpret drawings, plans and measurements
• Strong practical knowledge of hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers at their homes or businesses
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working from ladders and scaffolding using appropriate safety equipment
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Crew leadership or mentoring experience is an asset
• Qualified independent contractors with a complete setup-including a suitable vehicle, tools and insurance-may also be considered.

Salary/Rate Range:$20.00 -$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Other Information: Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with overtime as required
