Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking Enclosure Builders to join our Enclosure department. You will work as part of a team to construct steel/metal enclosures, install walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and mount louvers and doors for housing electrical distribution equipment.

Roles operate on two shifts (5:00–13:30 and 16:00–00:30 CT), with OT eligibility. Candidates must read blueprints, use measuring devices, and safely handle hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and hand/power tools involved in construction.
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

1** st **** Shift:** 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT

2** nd **** Shift:** 4pm – 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT

Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Builders to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures.

Responsibilities:

• Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (large metal housing units)
• Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs
• Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment

Requirements:

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and hand/power tools involved in construction
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
