Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking Enclosure Builders to support the fabrication of steel/metal enclosures in our on-site facility in Milwaukee, WI. The role operates in two shifts and starts early morning or late afternoon, with overtime eligibility.

As a builder, you will assemble walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and mount electrical components, working closely with teammates to meet quality standards. Prior experience with construction tools and blueprint reading is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and hand/power tools involved in construction
• Able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Must be highly motivated
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen

Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months)

1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) - eligible for OT

2nd Shift: 4pm - 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) - eligible for OT

Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Builders to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures.

Responsibilities:

• Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (large metal housing units)
• Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs
• Mounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment
