Job summary

BSFR Property Management LLC seeks a Community Manager for Build-to-Rent communities in Charleston. You will lead onsite teams, manage leasing activities, and drive occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong operational performance.

The role requires a track record in multifamily or BTR settings, solid financial acumen, and the ability to mentor staff in a fast-paced environment. A relevant real estate license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred (equivalent work experience may be considered).
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing onsite operations in Build-to-Rent, multifamily, or related environments.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and operational management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong financial and analytical skills related to property operations and budgeting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in property management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active Real Estate license in applicable state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Build-to-Rent communities to ensure operational excellence and resident satisfaction.
• Ensure homes, amenity spaces, and common areas are prepared for leasing and resident activities.
• Welcome prospective residents, conduct tours, and support leasing activities.
• Respond to resident and prospect inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
• Oversee leasing performance, renewals, and occupancy goals.
• Conduct regular property inspections for appearance, safety, and curb appeal.
