Compass Group, North America is seeking a Buffet Supervisor for SFO Airport who will monitor operations to meet company standards. You’ll ensure optimal customer service, manage buffet operations, and lead a team to achieve performance goals.

BUFFET SUPERVISOR AT SFO AIRPORT

Location: San Francisco Airport

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00

Shift: Flexible, Open availability

Job Summary

In conjunction with unit management, the Buffet Supervisor will monitor activities to ensure conformance with Company, government and accrediting agency standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures optimal customer service and client satisfaction
• Provides cost effective management that meets and exceeds stated expectations
• Assists in the responsibility for all operational activities including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Oversee daily buffet operations, ensuring smooth service and product availability
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance standards
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and timely replenishment
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Coordinate with kitchen on production, timing, and execution
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
• Lead pre-shift briefings and team communication
• Support inventory control, waste reduction, and cost management

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, or comparable experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
• Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels
• The ability to multi-task and establish priorities
• Exhibit initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
