Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation according to recipes.
• Proficient in knife skills and culinary techniques.
• Maintains refrigeration and dry storage areas with proper handling and rotation.
• Ensures work station remains clean and sanitized; labels and rotates food products.
• Follows recipes, specifications and control procedures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary area in compliance with health regulations.
• Breaks down, cleans, and assembles kitchen equipment used in food production.
• Assists with guest requests and with storage and rotation of food products.
• Uses measuring tools and scales; stirs and strains soups and sauces.
• Documents food safety records and reports safety issues to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
