Chuck-A-Rama Buffet Restaurants is seeking a hands-on Cook to prepare and cook food from our recipes, maintain a stocked buffet, and work with a fast-paced kitchen team. You will ensure food is prepared to Chuck-A-Rama standards and kept at proper temperatures.

Ideal candidates enjoy cooking, pay attention to quality, stay organized, and communicate well with peers. Training is available for those with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients and setting up workstation for service.
• Preparing and cooking food according to Chuck-A-Rama recipes and standards.
• Cooking fresh food throughout the shift to keep the buffet stocked.
• Checking food for quality, freshness, taste, and presentation.
• Making sure food is prepared and served at the proper temperatures.
• Keeping workstation and kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Safely using and caring for kitchen equipment.
• Following food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures.
• Communicating with the food bar and kitchen team about what needs to be prepared.
• Helping teammates and jumping in where needed during busy meal periods.
