Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Kitchen Cook for the Tucson Convention Center venues. The role focuses on food production, buffet presentations, and maintaining clean, compliant kitchen areas during events.

The incumbent will prep, cook, and plate items while following HACCP guidelines and working closely with the Executive Chef. The position requires 1–3 years in a full-service kitchen, flexibility for meals, weekends, and holidays, and a valid Food Handlers Card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a full-service kitchen.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills Banquet Event Orders (BEO) service.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Designs creative buffet presentations.
• Measures ingredients per recipes.
• Tastes and seasons foods.
• Preps beef, chicken, and fish.
• Knows final meat temperatures per health code.
• Washes, peels, cuts fruits and vegetables.
• Keeps areas and storage clean and labeled.
• Communicates with Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef.
• Maintains professional team environment.
• Follows directions from supervisor.
• Punctual, proper uniform; HACCP paperwork.
