Job summary

Legends Global, located at the Tucson Convention Center, seeks a Kitchen Cook to support food & beverage operations during events. You will prep, cook, and plate items, maintain sanitation, and collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality menus for banquets and concessions.

The role requires 1–3 years in a full-service kitchen, willingness to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends, and ability to follow recipes and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience preparing meals in a full-service kitchen.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by events.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Cleaning kitchen equipment as assigned.
• Design buffet presentations and maintain a quality product.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Taste and season food accordingly.
• Prep and prepare meat such as beef, chicken and fish.
• Maintain clean, organized, sanitized work areas and comply with health regulations.
• Manage food/storage areas; labeling and dating.
• Communicate effectively with Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef.
• Follow directions and maintain professional work environment.
