Job summary

TheCentralHotelHarrisburg is seeking a dedicated restaurant banquet associate to provide exceptional guest service in our hotel dining spaces. You will greet guests, take and process orders, and ensure timely delivery of meals while maintaining a clean dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous banquet service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to learn safety and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and privacy of guests at all times.
• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly smile and greet them.
• Accurately process guest orders and prepare itemized checks.
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Utilize upselling techniques for food and beverage service.
• Clear and reset tables between courses and after meals.
• Address guest requests professionally and resolve concerns.
