Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, seeks an Assistant Banquet Manager for Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA. You will train and direct banquet staff to ensure successful events and repeat business.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and strict adherence to safety and service standards. A background in hospitality and supervisory experience is preferred; a college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise setup of function rooms according to event orders and inspect rooms and equipment for cleanliness and readiness.
• Communicate calmly with kitchen, service, beverage, convention services, engineering staff, and guest host to ensure timely execution of events and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide leadership and direction in developing ambassadors and maximize productivity and satisfaction of direct reports.
• Enter billing and payroll for events and oversee staff attendance and station assignments to ensure quality service.
• Oversee teardown and storage of equipment and maintain proper inventory and documentation.
