Job summary

Hornblower Corp is seeking a Buffet Attendant to provide friendly, efficient buffet maintenance and replenishment, transport food from galley to buffet areas, and assist in galley and buffet cleaning. You will ensure sanitary handling practices and deliver exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous kitchen experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must meet minimum state age requirements.
• Will be available for work nights, weekends and major holidays.
• Must lift and move heavy items such as cases of provisions and large containers of prepared foods.

Responsibilities

• Buffet maintenance and replenishment.
• Run food from galley to appropriate buffet areas.
• Inspect food prep areas, buffets, and service areas for safe, sanitary handling practices.
• Receive and organize hot line food orders; portion, arrange, and garnish food for service.
• Carry trays of food to locations during plated meals.
• Read and understand the ticketing system to deliver trays to proper locations.
• Assist in routine galley cleaning including equipment and surfaces sanitation and floor mopping.
• Provide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests.
• Maintain uniform and grooming per appearance standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.
