Job summary

The Prince William County Government is seeking a Business Services Administrator to lead DPR financial functions within the Administration Division. You will oversee budget, financial, and procurement services for all divisions, using technology and best practices to support executive decisions and department goals.

Ideal candidates bring GAAP knowledge, strong internal controls, and a proven ability to develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Experience managing budgets, procurement, and financial processes.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls; strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget preparation and process management.
• Produce budget vs. actual reporting and departmental forecasts.
• Oversee year-end close, audits, and procurement compliance.
• Supervise a mixed team of 3 FTE and 1 PT; develop staff and partners.
• Coordinate with other county departments and external agencies.
