Job summary

The Budget Director position at Chicago Housing Authority leads the budget lifecycle, oversees forecasting, capital planning, and HUD submissions, and directs a Budget team during the Lawson-to-Yardi transition. Requires a bachelor’s in accounting or business administration, 7+ years in accounting, CPA or MBA preferred, and familiarity with Yardi ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, or Business Administration and seven years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Familiarity with Yardi ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Budget team and oversees budget monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinates HUD budget submissions and program funding forms.
• Leads the Lawson to Yardi transition for budgeting and forecasting.
