Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Ohio seeks a Budget Analyst to manage budgets, forecast needs, and analyze financial data across the organization. You will monitor expenditures, prepare monthly reports, and support grant spending and close-out reporting to ensure fiscal discipline and compliance.

The role involves preparing budget proposals, revisions, and performance analyses, with travel within the designated service area and a strong emphasis on accuracy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• A high school degree or GED equivalent is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
• 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping experience, or financial analysis are required.
• Experience in accounting or other financial management fields is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, analyzes, and reviews budget proposals and funding requests for external funding, including grants.
• Prepares comprehensive reports related to the preparation and submission of budgets, budget revisions, budget performance, etc.
• Monitors budgets and notifies leadership of significant variances.
• Oversee expenditure and identify trends in spending.
• Enters budget amendments and runs queries/reports utilizing Financial Edge or Yardi.
• Ensures the organization’s compliance with funding requirements.
