Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the National Airspace System Integration Support (NISC IV) program in the Fort Worth, TX office. This role focuses on compiling and reviewing budgets, preparing financial plans, and monitoring policy implementation to ensure responsible use of funds for FAA-related initiatives.

Qualifications

  • BA degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with budgeting or finance-related functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (US Citizen or Green Card holder; US residency 3 years).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and review budgets using actual performance, previous figures, and expense reports to control funds.
  • Prepare financial plans.
  • Monitor implementation of financial policies.
  • Prepare regular and special-purpose reports.
  • Maintain historical records and analyze trends.
  • Establish cost rates and personnel forecasts.
  • Recommend and interpret budgetary policies.
  • Prepare comparative evaluations of actual costs against budget.
  • Determine rationale for variances between costs and budget.
