Job summary

Leidos in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Budget Analyst to join the National Airspace System Integration Support (NISC IV) team. You will compile and review budgets, prepare financial plans, monitor policy implementation, and generate regular and special-purpose reports to support funding decisions. Requirements include a BA degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, and travel up to 10%. FAA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Requires a BA degree and 2 to 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (US Citizen or Green Card Holder who has resided in the US for the past 3 years).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and review budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration.
  • Prepare financial plans.
  • Monitor implementation of financial policies.
  • Prepare regular and special-purpose reports.
  • Maintain historical records and analyze trends.
  • Establish cost rates and personnel forecasts.
  • Recommend and interpret budgetary policies and procedures.
  • Prepare comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds.
  • Determine rationale for variances between costs and budget.
