Akoya Behavioral Health is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support children with autism in Michigan. Roles include in-home and center-based work, with training and certification support provided by the company.

As a BT/RBT you will work one-on-one to build communication, social skills, and independence while following treatment plans from the BCBA supervisor. We offer growth paths toward Lead RBT and BCBA roles.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Must have the physical stamina to actively engage with children (sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 45 pounds).
• Willingness to complete required training.
• Experience in ABA, childcare, education, psychology, or related field is helpful but not required.

Responsabilidades

• One-on-one work with children in homes or centers.
• Play games, read books, and activities to practice communication and social skills.
• Teach daily living skills like asking for help and following routines.
• Support children through challenging moments with patience.
• Follow treatment plans created by supervising BCBA.
• Track progress and complete session notes.
• Collaborate with BCBA and teammates to help each child succeed.
