Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Michigan. This part-time role offers 4:15PM–8:15PM shifts with opportunities in Center-Based and In-Home settings.

Training and RBT certification support are provided, with compensation of $18–$23 per hour based on experience. You will work with children with autism, helping them learn new skills in homes or centers, under supervision from BCBA, and you’ll receive ongoing guidance and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Must have physical stamina to engage with children (lifting up to 45 pounds).
• Willingness to complete required training.
• ABA/childcare/education/psychology experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in homes or centers.
• Help children practice communication and social skills.
• Follow treatment plans from supervising BCBA.
• Track progress and complete session notes.
• Collaborate with BCBA and teammates to support each child's progress.
