Job summary

Hope is seeking a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician in Herrin, IL. You will work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic, applying ABA principles to teach communication and early learning goals.

The role offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay 16–19, training, benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Must be 18+, HS diploma, and pass background check; BACB RBT credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to teach children with ASD using ABA.
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician - Herrin, IL (Full-Time)

Hourly Rate: $16-$19 (based on experience)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

WHAT WE PREFER

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with children.
• Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
