Job summary

Hope Autism Clinic in Alabama is hiring a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician to work with children with autism. You will deliver ABA-based services, collect data, and collaborate with the treatment team to support communication and early learning goals.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, ability to pass background clearance, and a caring attitude. RBT credential is preferred; great training and benefits accompany this full-time position.

What You Will Do

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

What You Will Bring

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

What We Prefer

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with children.
• Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
