Job summary

Hope Autism Clinic, a division of Hope, seeks a part-time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician to support young children with autism in our O’Fallon, IL clinic.

You will implement ABA-based activities, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes compassionate communication with families and consistent data collection.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

Responsibilities

Schedule = Mon-Fri 1045am-445pm

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).


• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.


• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.


• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.


• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Must be 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or equivalent education.


• Successful background clearance.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.


• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
