Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse with a BSN to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within the Relationship Based Care model. Under department leadership, you will adhere to nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality care on a busy unit.

You will perform assessments, coordinate with families and the health care team, plan and document outcomes, and participate in discharge planning and quality

Qualifications

BSN required and Illinois RN licensure.
BLS certification required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate.
ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.

Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive nursing assessment with documented results.
Communicates changes in patient condition promptly to the care team.
Develops and updates patient-centered care plans with measurable goals.
Coordinates discharge planning and referrals as needed.
Ensures safe medication administration and patient education.
Acts as unit safety facilitator and participates in quality initiatives.
