Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Faculty to educate and mentor students in our nursing programs. The role involves coordinating exams, evaluating student performance, and ensuring high-quality instruction across theory and clinical settings.

Applicants should hold an RN license and a Master of Nursing or higher, with at least four years of direct patient care and recent clinical experience. The position offers growth, a supportive faculty development program, and a collaborative work

Qualifications

• No Previous Teaching experience is required; Faculty Development training helps you succeed in class.
• Hold a valid, active RN license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited institution.
• At least four years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Clinical experience within the last five years counted toward direct patient care.
• Expertise in one of the nursing areas: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams.
• Ensure class attendance and submission of grades.
• Assist with planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Plan orientation for new faculty in theory and clinical facilities.
• Utilize teaching principles for adult learners.
• Demonstrate or acquire online teaching skills to enhance content.
• Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner.
• Stay current with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in faculty meetings and committees.
