Job summary

ING Americas is seeking a Test Lead with BSA/AML, Transaction Monitoring, and Sanctions Screening expertise for a contractor role in New York. You will oversee end-to-end testing, data validation, UAT coordination, and regulatory compliance activities across multiple teams and vendors.

Lead test design, execution, automation, and governance for SIT, regression, and production validation while ensuring traceability and sign-off. Hybrid work with in-office and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (ADO, JIRA, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in UI/API automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Ingenious, etc.).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
• Proven experience in UAT coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong skills in test case design, defect lifecycle management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing across SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production Validation.
• Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, and governance artifacts.
• Coordinate testing across teams, stakeholders, vendors, and apps.
• Define scope, criteria, test scenarios, and execution approaches.
• Perform functional, manual, and exploratory testing of workflows.
• Execute regression and sanity test suites; ensure traceability between requirements, tests, and defects.
• Drive risk mitigation and issue management; ensure production readiness.
• Log, track and manage defects in ADO/JIRA; maintain audit-ready evidence.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Devs, and Ops; support Agile ceremonies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts; participate in CI/CD automation design.
