Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking a kitchen team member in Charlotte to accurately and efficiently prepare hot foods, portion before cooking, and assist with plating and garnishes. You will follow Ruby standards and maintain clean work areas while collaborating with a busy crew.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, strong communication with managers and front-of-house, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion before cooking.
• Plate and garnish cooked items and prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow kitchen rules and procedures.
