Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Who We Are

Stella represents an expression of artistry across the mediums of cuisine, art and design. Italian for ‘star’, Stella is inspired by the traditions of the traveling hearth of the coastal and pastoral communities of Southern, Central and Northern Italy, enriched with local California, seasonal ingredients.

A creative collaboration between restaurateur, Janet Zuccarini, and Executive Chef Rob Gentile, Stella brings modern twists on age-old Italian culinary traditions to West Hollywood.

We are seeking experienced cooks for the grill & pasta station as well as the Cold station.

The Role

  • Prepare food to order as specified by the Chef and guest follow recipes accurately as outlined by Chef for brunch service
  • Coordinate timing of dish completion with other cooks
  • Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions as directed by Chef
  • Station ownership - ensure all mis en place needed for service are ready for use
  • Prior to service, prep dish elements such as stocks and garnishes. This may include chopping vegetables and butchery
  • Ensure tools such as knives, pans, are in place
  • Consistently follow and complete prep lists according to company guidelines
  • Label products accurately and follow First In First Out when managing storage
  • Perform duties in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration Sanitize work stations
  • Regular hand washing & station disinfection
  • Mark and date all stored food
  • Ensure dishes are prepared to accurate temperature
  • Station clean up
  • Disposing of waste & accountability to composting programs
  • Sweep and mop
  • Clean all surfaces on station
  • Store or dispose of all unused items
