Job summary

Hash Kitchen in Pearland, TX is hiring an Expo/Food runner. Earn a base wage plus tips, between $15-$20 per hour, with opportunities to advance through our training program.

No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training and a supportive team. You will manage the expo line, assist in plating, and help ensure speedy, accurate service while maintaining quality and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• No previous experience is needed, on the job training is offered.
• Understanding of food safety.
• Willing to go the extra mile to create the guest experience.
• Knowledgeable about the menu and varying products.

Responsibilities

• As an Expo, manage the expo line and ensure orders are prepared in the correct priority.
• Assist in final preparation, plating and garnishing of dishes.
• Support quick delivery of prepared food with fellow staff.
• Eliminate obstacles in service and food prep lines.
• Inspect the premises for sanitation and assist in cleaning.
• Transfer information between kitchen and wait staff for special requests.
• Handle client complaints to protect Hash Kitchen's reputation.
• Assist with other tasks such as telephone orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
