Job summary

Hash Kitchen in Peoria, AZ is hiring an Expo/Food Runner to support brunch service. The base wage plus tips ranges from $15–$20 per hour, with every night off and opportunities for career growth, plus health, dental and vision insurance and ongoing hospitality training.

You will manage the expo line, ensure orders are prioritized correctly, and help with final dish prep and plating while coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is needed; we offer on the job training.

• Knowledgeable about the menu and products we carry.

Responsibilities

• As an Expo for Hash Kitchen, manage the expo line and ensure orders are prepared in correct priority.
• Assist in final preparation of dishes before delivery, checking accuracy, presentation and temperature.
• Finish plating and garnishing of dishes and coordinate with front-of-house for timely service.
• Help fellow squad members in quick delivery of prepared food.
• Eliminate obstacles in service and prep lines, or during dishwashing.
• Inspect premises per quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning.
• Transfer important information between kitchen and wait staff (e.g., special requests).
• Handle guest complaints to preserve the restaurant's reputation.
• Support other tasks as needed (e.g., telephone orders) and perform duties assigned by management.

A Day In The Brunch Life

As an Expo for Hash Kitchen, you get to add the final touches to our delicious brunch items before they are delivered to our guests. You will manage the expo line and ensure that food orders are prepared in the correct priority and that they is an efficient flow coming from your fellow Squad members to the kitchen.

• Assist in the final preparation of dishes before delivery by checking for accuracy, presentation and temperature
• Final preparation of plating and garnishing of dishes
• Assist fellow Squad members in quick delivery of prepared food
• Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing
