Job summary

STV Incorporated in the West Region is seeking an experienced Civil roadway/traffic designer to lead day-to-day design delivery on BRT and complete streets projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary production and support project management functions such as scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client coordination.

The role focuses on complex BRT and multimodal corridor assignments, mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to criteria and standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of civil roadway/traffic design experience in BRT and complete streets.
• Strong knowledge of geometric design, curb-and-gutter improvements, transit stops.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to final design with PM support.
• Familiarity with Metro/Caltrans/WSDOT and West Coast agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of BRT, complete streets and station-area design.
• Coordinate task delivery, scheduling, budget awareness, and client follow-up.
• Prepare plan sheets, design exhibits, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior roadway/traffic staff and ensure QA/QC.
• Support agency and stakeholder coordination meetings.
