Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and provide technical oversight and guidance to the Brownfields Redevelopment Section, while protecting public health and the environment.
  • Guide and interpret environmental site assessments, identify data gaps, and direct assessment activities.
  • Collaborate with prospective developers to implement mitigation measures for safe redevelopment of brownfields properties.
  • Draft and finalize legal documents including Brownfields Agreement, Notice of Brownfields Property, and survey plat.
  • Apply risk analysis knowledge to reuse of contaminated brownfields properties and communicate requirements clearly.
  • Communicate technical information and regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders clearly and accurately.
