Job summary

Antea Group is seeking graduates for entry-level Environmental Specialist roles in North Carolina and other US locations. The positions involve site remediation activities, safety oversight, permitting, and HS&E support with significant travel (70–80%).

Ideal candidates have a related BS, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Word/Excel, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; sponsorship is not required.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Health & Safety or related major.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• 0–3 years of applicable environmental experience; must have a 40-hour HAZWOPER OSHA certification or be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support site remediation activities and health and safety oversight of subcontractors.
• Assist with permitting, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, and project reporting.
• Prepare work and health and safety plans; conduct soil and groundwater investigations and sampling.
• Operate and maintain remediation systems; manage data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
