Job summary

eMaids is seeking a hands-on Office Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Brooklyn HQ. This in-person role requires living in the 5 boroughs and managing office, sales, and support staff across residential and commercial accounts.

You will coach a diverse team, handle client escalations, and partner with HR on onboarding and discipline, ensuring service quality and revenue growth. This is a high-ownership leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations & office management experience in a service-based business.
• Direct people management including hiring, coaching, PIPs, and terminations.
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams preferred.
• Experience coaching sales/intake teams to meet revenue metrics.
• Availability for odd hours or weekends for urgent issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead office, sales, and support staff; run daily standups and performance reviews.
• Resolve escalated client issues and maintain relationships with residential and commercial clients.
• Oversee remote team of 12+ virtual assistants in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
• Coach intake/sales team on lead handling, proposal conversion, and pipeline management.
• Partner with HR on onboarding, structure, and field discipline.
