Always Compassionate Health seeks highly experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurses to provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and other infusion therapies in patients’ homes across Brooklyn, NY. Candidates should have 3–4 years of recent hands-on chemotherapy/immunotherapy experience and current ONCC/ONS certification.

Qualificações

• Active, unrestricted New York State RN license and registration.
• 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration.
• ONS/ONCC certificate or ONCC certification.
• Infusion experience in home care, oncology, infusion center, hospital, or clinic.
• Competence administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and other infusion therapies.
• Strong venous access and central line management.
• BLS current; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to assess patients, recognize adverse reactions, and intervene.
• Reliable transportation for field visits.
• Comfort with electronic documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in the patient’s home.
• Review and interpret orders and treatment plans.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and prescribed infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Recognize and respond to infusion reactions and other clinical changes.
• Perform peripheral IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Access and manage PICCs, midlines, central venous catheters, and implanted ports.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, meds, side effects, and safety.
• Communicate with patients, families, pharmacies, physicians, and staff.
• Document electronically and complete follow-up visits.
