Always Compassionate Health in Brooklyn is seeking experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurses to provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic, and other infusion therapies in patients' homes across Brooklyn. This per-diem role requires 3–4 years of hands-on chemotherapy/immunotherapy experience, a current NY RN license, and an ONCC certificate.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York State RN license and registration.
• Minimum 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience.
• Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate or ONCC certification.
• Recent infusion experience in various clinical settings.
• Demonstrated competency administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics and other infusion therapies.
• Strong venous access and central line management skills.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to independently assess patients and initiate interventions.
• Reliable transportation for field-based visits.
• Proficient in electronic clinical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in the patient’s home.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and prescribed infusions.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Recognize infusion reactions and respond appropriately.
• Perform peripheral IV insertion and phlebotomy; manage PICCs/midlines/ports.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, meds, and safety.
• Communicate with patients, families, pharmacies, physicians, and internal staff.
• Complete timely electronic documentation; perform follow-up visits.
• Precept or evaluate newly hired infusion nurses when requested.
