Goodwill Greater New York and Northern New Jersey (GWNYNJ) is seeking a Business Services Manager for the Bronx Workforce1 Career Centers. You will lead recruitment strategy, manage employer partnerships, and oversee the recruitment and sales functions to connect jobseekers with local employers.

This role supervises a team of six or more staff, ensures program compliance, and reports progress to leadership. Strong NYC labor market knowledge and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of combined recruitment and sales/business development experience.
• Experience designing recruitment strategies informed by labor market trends.
• Experience supervising and motivating a team of 6+ staff members.
• Strong understanding of the New York City economy and hiring trends.
• Familiarity with managing employer accounts by NAICS sector.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Workforce Development, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement recruitment strategies for a steady pipeline of candidates.
• Oversee intake, posting, and fulfillment of job orders in SBS systems.
• Partner with Career Advisors to align candidate pipelines with employer needs.
• Coordinate and host recruitment events (virtual and in-person).
• Build and maintain relationships with employers within assigned NAICS codes.
• Lead and coach sales and recruitment staff; set goals and conduct reviews.
• Monitor compliance with SBS Workforce1 policies; prepare reports.
