Job summary

CAMBA in New York, NY seeks an Internship Developer to build internships for students aged 15-21 within the LTW program. You will manage employer relations, coordinate interviews, and guide students through readiness seminars and placement processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and strong organizational skills, with fingerprints clearance for the DOE. Full-time, 35 hours/week, based at LTW sites across NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and applicable experience.
• Must obtain Dept. of Education fingerprint clearance.
• Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance throughout employment.
• Experience or ability to coordinate internship programs in a public school setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with students and student confidentiality.
• Develop, create and/or request internship and job opportunities for students.
• Research and maintain accurate contact data for all employer/internship information.
• Regularly initiate contact with potential employers seeking interns in the NY Metro area.
• Market CAMBA's internship placement services to employers.
• Build and maintain a list of internship openings in various industries.
• Match students to internships based on qualifications.
• Inform students of job duties and details of open positions.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate between student and hiring manager.
• Prepare students for interviews including mock interviews.
• Facilitate Job Readiness Seminars and pre-placement orientations.
