Job summary

CAMBA Inc. in New York City is seeking an Internship Developer for the Learning to Work program. You will build internship opportunities for students aged 15–21, coordinate interviews, and maintain accurate employer data to support meaningful placements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-service environment. You will collaborate with Youth Advisors to ensure successful internships and documented progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and applicable experience.
• Ability to adapt to the culture and environment of a public school.
• Ability to effectively present information to employers, students, funders, other organizations, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with students and confidentiality.
• Develop and request internship opportunities for students.
• Research and maintain accurate contact data for employer/internship information.
• Regularly initiate contact with potential employers seeking interns in the NY Metro area.
• Market CAMBA’s internship placement services to employers.
• Build and maintain a list of internship openings across industries.
• Coordinate interviews between students and hiring managers.
• Prepare students for interviews with mock sessions.
• Update internship records in Client Track and payroll paperwork.
