Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in the Bronx is seeking a Program Manager, Community Safety, to manage day-to-day operations of the Save Our Streets South Bronx program and support additional violence prevention initiatives.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will supervise a team of 26 frontline staff, coordinate community events, build faith-based and resident partnerships, and ensure strong data reporting while advancing equitable public safety in Morrisania and Mott Haven.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent lived experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of violence prevention and community engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Save Our Streets Bronx program and supervise staff.
• Build community support, including faith-based leaders, residents, and local organizations.
• Coordinate mobilization and public education activities and monthly anti-violence events.
• Lead responses to shooting incidents within 72 hours and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain monthly program reports and develop internal incident reporting protocols.
