Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a childcare, after-school, or youth development program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program operations, ensuring alignment with standards, contractual obligations and goals.
• Design, implement, and monitor program schedules, curricula, and enrichment activities.
• Establish a safe, structured environment for all participants.
• Develop recruitment and retention strategies to meet enrollment targets.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training and supervision of program staff; conduct evaluations.
• Ensure staff compliance with child safety, mandated reporting and confidentiality policies.
• Oversee payroll and manage program budget oversight with Finance support.
• Serve as liaison with schools, families, and community partners.
