Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered fintech, is seeking a client operations associate to support broker partners and clients in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on service delivery, processing operational requests, and ensuring accuracy in documentation.

You will collaborate with trading, operations, sales, and engineering teams, bringing strong communication skills and FINRA compliance awareness. A Series 7 license is required, with 1–2 years in the securities industry.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in the securities industry.
• FINRA Series 7 license required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; knowledge of FINRA, Federal, and SEC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients and broker partners on service needs and issues.
• Submit and process operational requests (fund distributions, ACATs, account updates) as instructed by brokerage team and clients.
• Research and respond to client issues related to forms, transfers, and other operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (trading, operations, sales, solutions, customer success, engineering, product) to resolve issues.
• Ensure new business paperwork is accurately submitted.
