Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a Registered Brokerage Client Service Associate to support broker partners and clients in the Pacific Timezone. You will be the first contact for service needs, process operations such as ACATs, and coordinate across internal teams to resolve issues.

The role requires 1–2 years in securities, a FINRA Series 7 license, and strong written and verbal communication. A remote, collaborative environment with a fast-paced workload awaits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in the securities industry.
• FINRA Series 7 license is required.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with FINRA, Federal, and SEC regulations.
• Able to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients and broker partners as the first point of contact for service needs and issues.
• Submit and process operational requests (funds distributions, cash/stock journals, ACATs, account updates).
• Research and respond to client issues related to form submissions, transfers, and operations.
• Coordinate with trading desk, operations, sales, solutions, customer success, engineering, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure new business paperwork is accurately submitted.
• Maintain a positive, resilient demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Make decisions within general guidelines.
• Understand KYC and client onboarding processes.
