Broker Relationship Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with broker partners to drive business growth for the direct sales force.
- Establish and expand partnerships with brokers, collaborating with internal teams to support growth initiatives.
- Deliver effective presentations to broker audiences.
- Lead sales planning with brokers, focusing on business development, engagement, retention, cross-selling, and profitability.
- Identify strategic focus areas within broker organizations and execute plans in coordination with the sales team.
- Explore regional business opportunities, including new markets and target segments, with the Distribution Team.
- Create and maintain a sales pipeline using internal and external data sources.
- Act as a product advocate, escalating new opportunities, renewals, and issues to senior management of broker partners.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in insurance industry business development preferred.
- High energy and motivation to handle diverse responsibilities.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders and brokers.
- Negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for meetings and events.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Goal-oriented and highly motivated.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Interest in AI technologies and willingness to learn and apply them in business.
Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000, based on experience, skills, and location. Compensation includes additional benefits and resources to support work-life balance.
