Broker Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with broker partners to drive business growth for the direct sales force.
  • Establish and expand partnerships with brokers, collaborating with internal teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Deliver effective presentations to broker audiences.
  • Lead sales planning with brokers, focusing on business development, engagement, retention, cross-selling, and profitability.
  • Identify strategic focus areas within broker organizations and execute plans in coordination with the sales team.
  • Explore regional business opportunities, including new markets and target segments, with the Distribution Team.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline using internal and external data sources.
  • Act as a product advocate, escalating new opportunities, renewals, and issues to senior management of broker partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in insurance industry business development preferred.
  • High energy and motivation to handle diverse responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders and brokers.
  • Negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for meetings and events.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented and highly motivated.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Interest in AI technologies and willingness to learn and apply them in business.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000, based on experience, skills, and location. Compensation includes additional benefits and resources to support work-life balance.
