Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Warrendale, PA is seeking an experienced team member to manage a broker book and coordinate day-to-day service for the Emerson Rogers relationship. You will mentor staff, respond to carrier/broker inquiries, and perform rate/renewal analyses to support sales and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a group health insurance setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Life & Health license required or obtain within three months of hire.
• Familiarity with products, services, and market needs in group health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Mentor internal staff for product and process.
• Coordinate with VIP Brokers and conduct frequent meetings with brokers.
• Resolve day-to-day service issues for brokers and vendors; assist with claims and billing problems.
• Respond to carrier and broker questions; ensure new business, renewals, and broker of record letters meet carrier requirements.
• Process plan changes submitted by account executives, broker consultants, and brokers; ensure timely changes and enrollments.
• Provide follow-up communication and approvals on plan changes and open enrollment issues.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for other lines of coverage.
• Enter data into commission database and maintain client databases.
