Job summary

USI Insurance Services seeks a Broker Consultant to manage a selective book of brokers and their business. You will coordinate day-to-day broker service, act as liaison between carriers and brokers, and assist with rate/renewal analysis.

Training brokers and visiting top brokers are encouraged to strengthen Emerson Rogers relations. Candidates should have 1+ years in group health insurance, and possess or obtain a Life & Health license within three months.

Qualifications

Knowledge of group health insurance products, services, and market needs.
Life & Health insurance license or ability to obtain within three months.
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with broker relations experience or potential.
Excellent organization, prioritization, and deadline management.
Ability to work independently in a busy team environment.

Responsibilities

Manage a book of brokers and their business as assigned.
Coordinate day-to-day customer service for brokers and ER relationship.
Assist with rate/renewal analysis and broker培训 (training) as needed.
Respond to carrier/broker questions and ensure new business, renewals, and letters meet requirements.
Process plan changes, endorsements, and other requests from account executives and brokers.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and maintain client databases.
