Authentic is seeking an Underwriter to evaluate and manage commercial insurance risks and strengthen broker partnerships. The role emphasizes owning account submissions, pricing considerations, and timely underwriting solutions in a fast-growing environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of commercial underwriting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with sales and carrier partners to drive profitable growth.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of commercial insurance underwriting experience required.
• Strong understanding of commercial lines underwriting principles and risk evaluation.
• Experience working with retail brokers, MGAs, wholesalers, or carriers.
• Ability to independently manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and insurance agency/carrier systems.

Aufgaben

• Review and evaluate new and renewal commercial insurance submissions.
• Analyze risk characteristics, loss history, financial information, and underwriting data.
• Assess pricing adequacy, coverage structures, and eligibility guidelines.
• Develop underwriting recommendations and make risk selection decisions within authority levels.
• Communicate proactively with brokers, carrier partners, and internal teams regarding submissions, quotes, renewals, and underwriting requirements.
• Manage accounts through the underwriting lifecycle including quoting, binding, endorsements, and renewals.
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships through responsiveness and service.
• Monitor account profitability and identify exposure trends.
• Maintain accurate underwriting documentation and file management.
• Partner closely with sales leadership to support business development and retention efforts.
• Contribute to underwriting process improvements and operational efficiencies.
