Job summary

PURE Insurance is seeking a Senior Underwriter to profitably grow a book of business by partnering with Agents and collaborating with colleagues across the organization. You’ll plan and budget for the book, develop agency relationships, and execute underwriting decisions in line with company guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of underwriting experience, preferably in high net worth risk, excels at data-driven decisions, and communicates directly and empathetically.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of underwriting experience, preferably in high net worth.
• Ability to own a book of business and build broker relationships.
• Direct, empathetic communication and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Review your book of business, track performance, and analyze market conditions.
• Build and manage broker relationships, developing goals and strategies for members.
• Oversee new and renewal underwriting, select risks per company guidelines, and ensure timely closing of accounts.
