Zusammenfassung

RT Specialty, LLC, a division of Ryan Specialty, seeks a Commercial Binding Authority Underwriter to evaluate, price, and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance business under binding authority. You’ll work with broker partners, assess exposures, and make sound risk and pricing decisions while building productive relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial underwriting with binding authority, strong risk assessment, and a collaborative, growth-focused approach.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience, including binding authority.
• Master’s degree with relevant underwriting experience may be considered.
• Experience evaluating risk, determining coverage and pricing, and managing an underwriting portfolio.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, price, and underwrite new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Analyze risks to determine classification, exposures, premium basis, pricing, and coverage forms.
• Apply credits and debits to develop sustainable pricing.
• Review inspection reports to assess risk quality and exposures.
• Maintain documentation of underwriting decisions and rationale.
• Ensure policies and endorsements are processed accurately and timely.
• Build and manage broker relationships and portfolio growth.
